about

This EP is a 2-track shorty packed with vitamin-C and a potassium punch, a teaser for our debut album coming Spring 2023.

I’m a sucker for really good mango juice and this led to the idea of illustrating the feeling of a sugar high off fruit. “Mango juice” is a summer love song on enjoying something real and not fake (not from concentrate).

Part of a two track EP titled, SOLSTICE, “Mango Juice” is playful and bright, while the latter “Papaya (Remix)” is somber yet fierce like summer’s opposing winter solstice –a reflection on papaya skin whitening products promoted by the Philippine beauty industry –the track combats colorism and empowers skin as is.
